Mansfield 4×4 Ltd have a vacancy for a qualified MOT tester (Class 4 & 7) / Level 3 vehicle technician.
The successful applicant will be experienced in both roles. Experience with 4 wheel alignment equipment will be an advantage, but not essential as training will be given.
Working negotiable hours between 8.00 to 18.00 on weekdays and 9.00 -13.00 on Saturdays, the applicant will possess a good work ethic and participate as part of a hardworking, friendly, and experienced workshop team with a “can-do” attitude.
They will;
- Hold a current driving license.
- Hold a current Class 4 / 7 MOT qualification.
- Hold a Level 3 Motor Vehicle Repair qualification.
- Be able to carry out general vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair to a high standard on 4×4 and other vehicles (predominately Land Rover and Jaguar).
- Be able to use electronic job cards and reporting systems.
- Possess a good selection of hand tools.

Diagnostic Technician
Mansfield 4×4 Ltd is recruiting for a Diagnostic Technician to join their workshop team at Bury St Edmunds.
Working negotiable hours between 08.00-18.00 and 9.00 -13.00 Saturday, the successful applicant will possess a good work ethic and participate as part of a hardworking, friendly and experienced workshop team with a “can do” attitude
- The ideal candidate will have up-to-date knowledge of Land Rover and/or Jaguar vehicles, preferably but not essentially, with a current MOT tester qualification.
- Have up to date knowledge of Land Rover Diagnostic systems
- Have an excellent understanding of vehicle electrics and electronics (LIN bus, CAN bus etc.) and be able to understand vehicle wiring diagrams.
- Preferably but not essentially, be EV/hybrid vehicle qualified.
- Be able to diagnose both electrical and mechanical faults on Land Rover vehicles
- You will need to hold a full valid UK driving license
- Possess NVQ Level 3 or have a minimum of 4 years continuous experience.
